Broomall, PA—September 16, 2009—Elite Home Technologies, the division of HiFi House Group that handles ultra high-end electronics and home automation projects, took home the Crestron Integration Award for The Ultimate Connected Home ($500,000 – $750,000). Crestron received more than 200 entries for their awards this year, and winners were chosen by an internal Crestron team of residential experts.

“This was a landmark project for Elite Home Technologies. We’re ecstatic that Crestron agrees this system sets a high mark in smart home design,” says E.J. Feulner, Managing Partner of EHT. “This project challenged our team to install a hugely expansive control system that could be easily manipulated, wouldn’t disturb the aesthetic of the home, while meeting the client’s high standards for great audio and video distribution. We spent eighteen months designing and installing the system, and today the homeowner says he can’t imagine living without it.”

This Monmouth Beach, NJ home boasts panoramic ocean and bay views, the finest trim and detailed millwork, 30′ ceilings, and can claim the title of the neighborhood’s ultimate connected home. The Elite Home Technology custom system features 26 zones of distributed music, 18 heating and cooling zones, five distributed video zones, 180 zones of Crestron Green Light® lighting control, as well as wired and wireless computer networks. In all, the home holds sixty-five Crestron keypads, seven touchpanels and a browser-based GUI, providing one-touch control from literally anywhere in or out of the home.
